Gary Goodman Interview

"Behind the Mask," the Family Channel, 1990

Executive Producer Gary Goodman "What we actually do is take 6 shows and do 6 in one block in 3 weeks so that we're doing pieces of each show and work is complicated.   As a great acting troop, they're able to concentrate on which show we are doing at which time."
"Peter Diamond, our 2nd unit stunt coordinator and director, he is the best.   And we are very lucky, in that when we started the show, I said, 'Now if I could only get the guy who did something like Princess Bride.'  I mean one of the best swordfights." Peter Diamond with Duncan Regehr
"[The series] doesn't have any gratuitous language or sex and. . .it. . .is a family show that everybody can sit down and watch together that should be as much fun for a child as for an adult."
Michael Levine with Duncan Regehr

Duncan Regehr as Zorro

"Duncan Regehr is Zorro.   He played Errol Flynn in the miniseries [My Wicked, Wicked Ways], and it shows off a little of his panache and style that he has, and I think he brings to it an old-time movie star quality.   He is a very handsome, very strong actor, and he gives out the subtleties of Don Diego and the flair and panache of Zorro.   Coincidentally, he also is a great swordsman so we have a great luxury in that we don't need to double him very often.   He can do almost all of his own swordplay." Duncan Regehr as Don Diego de la Vega
